Blood stained carpet at Woonona
Blood stains on the carpet ….
One of our customers unfortunately cut herself and lost a lot of blood while sitting on her bed. She rushed to the bathroom but left a lot of blood stains on the carpet.
Blood can be hard to get out of carpet if left for a long time, so the quicker it can be cleaned the better. Blood will come out easily at the surface if attended to quickly but it does tend to ‘well’ into the carpet pile and underlay if there has been a lot of blood in one spot.
Blood can be very hard to extract from carpet
It ‘wells’ down into the underlay and even to the floor surface too. Blood is obviously very hard to extract from your carpet it when it has gone that deep. On most occasions as the carpet is drying the blood will seep back to the surface and show itself again.

No charge for second spot clean if needed
This may result in us needing to come back another day and going over the spot again. We do not charge for the second visit if required. Small drops will not come back. It is only when there is lots of blood spilling onto the one area.
The customer was very happy with the result from ChemDry Excellence because they thought they may have to replace the carpet.Luckily this job at Woonona took only one trip as the blood came out of the carpet first go and did not return.
